In the heart of the theater district on West 48th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue is The Ritz Plaza, a 44-story rental tower managed by Stonehenge NYC. Inside are nearly 500 apartments in layouts ranging from renovated studios to spacious, two-bedroom homes with condo-level finishes.

Large windows create bright living spaces and complement the elegantly designed interiors; most units have private balconies with expansive views of city. Pass-through kitchens are equipped with premium stainless steel appliances, there are large closets, and climate control in individual rooms.

Available units include studios from $2,842/month, one-bedrooms from $3,112/month and two-bedrooms from $5,128/month. According to the Stonehenge leasing team, leases on select units offer one month free on a 12-month lease.

Amenities in the pet friendly building include a full-time doorman and valet, an attached 24-hour attended parking garage, a heated indoor pool, a roof deck, a fitness center, a residents lounge, and access to Maven car-share. There is both on-site management and a live-in superintendent, and apartments are equipped for Verizon Fios.

The high-rise was designed by Schuman Lichtenstein Claman & Efron and was erected in 1990. According to a review by building critic Carter Horsley, it served as an important precursor to the spectacular renaissance of the once plagued Times Square. It is owned by Stonehenge NYC, which also owns and manages popular Manhattan rentals including 101 West 15th Street, 41 Park Avenue and Stonehenge 57.
