See New Construction Photos of FRANK 57 West; Register on Teaser Site for Updates, Leasing Set to Launch This Year

FRANK 57 WEST, 600 West 58th Street FRANK 57 WEST, 600 West 58th Street
Long gone is the bleak intersection of West 58th Street and Eleventh Avenue. New construction photos of FRANK 57 WEST not only show-off the building's progress, but detail a vivid cityscape of texture and design that continues to emerge in a former industrial zone of Midtown West.

The new building is a mixed-use development from the Durst Organization, which developed the neighboring residential properties VIA 57 West and Helena. Addressed as 600 West 58th Street, FRANK 57 WEST rises along the southwest corner of the intersection, and in February it topped out at 10 stories. It will be home to 65 rental residences, with additional space for offices, retail, and community facilities. The building is nearing the finish line and leasing is expected to launch later this year. In the meantime, interested renters can register on the teaser site for leasing updates.
The building features a design by Studio V Architecture. An early rendering of the project is on the right.
The apartments will have a mix of one-, two- and three-bedrooms, and 12 are reserved for an affordable housing lottery. The building will have a resident lounge, fitness center, and rooftop terrace.

The 150,000-square-foot building is designed by Studio V Architecture and features a four-story glass base, topped by six floors featuring a dark, zinc façade.
Durst's Helena and VIA 57 West
The new rentals will join the Durst Organization's collection of more than 1,300 rental units along this corridor of Midtown West. VIA 57 West, which opened earlier this year, has 709 rentals, and Helena has nearly 600. All three buildings have sustainable features that will help to mitigate their overall consumption of water and energy.

Just one block west is the Hudson River waterfront and along the way you'll see the 8-story sculpture Flows Two Ways by artist Stephen Glassman, which was unveiled this summer. Proximity to the Hudson River waterfront means subways are a few avenues to the east, but the location is convenient nonetheless. A short walk away is the Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts along with all the shops and restaurants of the Lincoln Square neighborhood.
Construction of the building earlier this year.
