Harbor 1500
is an amenity-rich rental building on the Weehawken waterfront leasing 'luxury' no-fee apartments from $2,555/month. Situated on a pier jutting 764 feet into the Hudson River, the seven-story complex facilitates easy ferry commute into Manhattan while also offering a 239-space parking garage for drivers. With the slow rental season upon us, the leasing team is pitching in three months of free rent for new lease-signers. According to the official building website
, there are a number of availabilities up for grabs, with studios priced from $2,555/month, one-bedrooms from $2,915, and two-bedrooms from $4,255.
While these prices may sound high considering the city's plummeting rent prices, Harbor 1500 is an exceptional property due to the incredible river and Manhattan skyline views afforded to nearly all apartments. Furthermore, a 42,000-square-foot amenity package includes two roof decks with an outdoor movie screening area, swimming pool, hot tub, and BBQ grills.
The open-concept interiors appear to be high-quality with French white oak hardwood floors, floor-to-ceiling windows, and kitchens with European cabinetry, stainless steel GE appliances, and Kohler fixtures. All homes have an in-unit washer/dryer and some feature a walk-in closet and/or a large private terrace.
The 236-unit development was finished in summer 2019 and developed by The Maxal Group with Hartz Mountain Industries. Unlike Manhattan, where obsolete industrial piers are almost exclusively reimagined into parkland, Jersey's Gold Coast communities have taken a mixed-use approach -- constructing low-rise communities framed by recreational esplanades. What the area lacks in walkability and brick-and-mortar amenities, it makes up with lower price points, larger units on average, and stellar views. Most buildings are relatively all-inclusive. Other Harbor 1500 amenities include a 24/7 doorman and concierge, bike storage, a top floor resident’s lounge, a children’s activity room, and a 3,000-square-foot fitness center with a yoga and spin studio.
