VYV in Jersey City opens second phase and offers renters 2.5 months free

While many Jersey City buildings were designed to make the most of the Manhattan skyline views and proximity, their interiors and amenities seek to make life in New Jersey more luxe and enjoyable than in New York. That is certainly the case at VYV, a two-towered high-rise in the Newport section of the neighborhood.

The soaring north tower, which houses 421 units, opened in 2017. Most recently, the 35-story, 432-unit south tower opened. The opening coincides with the installation of Pavilion, a large-scale interactive sculpture by Maximilian Pelzmann on the amenity deck.

Current availabilities in both towers start at $2,451/month for studios, $2,614/month for one-beds, and $3,881/month for two-beds. The building is currently offering up to two and a half months free rent to renters who move in by October 31.
All units are accessed via keyless entry and enjoy an airy atmosphere thanks to high ceilings and expansive frameless windows that let in abundant natural light and skyline views. Interior features include bedrooms with USB ports, baths with custom vanities and high-end fixtures, in-unit washer/dryers, and sustainable wood-style flooring throughout. Residents have a choice of oak or walnut finishes in the kitchen; either way, they get Caesarstone quartz countertops, tile backsplashes, under-cabinet lighting, and stainless steel appliances. Select units have private terraces, and select kitchens have islands and built-in pantries with slide-out organizing systems.

Both towers of VYV are connected by an indoor/outdoor eighth-floor amenity deck with grilling stations, dining areas, and a lounge area and cabanas around a lap pool and hot tub. Interior offerings include two fully equipped fitness centers, private co-working pods, and a sports bar with multiple TVs and seating areas. The package room, on-site garage, bike room, pet spa, concierge, and on-site management and maintenance make life easier for residents.
New residents will appreciate having a Shop-Rite and Bed Bath & Beyond at the end of the block. Upon settling in, the Newport Centre mall, dining and nightlife of Grove Street, and various light rail stations are a short walk away. VYV’s proximity to the Newport PATH station and Harborside ferry stop allows for no shortage of commuting options.
