A rental building in redevelopment at 49 Prince Street in Nolita recently kicked off leasing for its newly conceptualized one- and two-bedroom homes, and the preliminary set of listings were rented within 10 days. The six-story building offers 27 rental units; 13 one-bedrooms and 14 two-bedrooms. Priced between $3,800 to $5,000 per month, the homed have features like custom millwork and exposed brick - but the renovations aren’t isolated to the interiors. The exterior façade is getting a full steam cleaning and new casement windows are to be installed, too. The redevelopment is by 49 Prince LLC and Mirador Real Estate is handling leasing and marketing.

While the preliminary set of rentals were leased out quickly, remaining high-floor one- and two-bedroom units still undergoing renovations will be released over the next four to six months. The building’s common areas are getting a renovation too, and the project’s completion date is anticipated in late spring or early summer of 2019. The stately rentals feature 7-inch plank floors and 8-foot pocket doors. Kitchens offer Calcutta gold countertops and backsplashes, Subzero refrigerators, as well as Blomberg ranges and dishwashers. There are new Dieken air conditioners, too. Bathrooms include Carrera marble radiant heat floors, Hansgrohe shower bodies, as well as floating custom vanities and commodes.

The building’s collection of amenities includes an outdoor garden, laundry room, bike storage and video intercoms. Residents can also hang in the new lounge equipped with wifi, a TV, kitchenette and wine cooler. There are plenty of neighborhood amenities in the surrounding areas of Nolita, Soho, East Village and Lower East Side including countless eateries, boutique shopping, historic landmarks, parks and more. The neighborhood is walkable and transit is accessible, including several subway lines, buses and Citi Bike.
