Park Slope’s newest rental, 800 Union Street, is nearly complete and debuted a new registration site and a handful of renderings to market the forthcoming rentals.
Despite some initial clamor from neighbors over lost parking, Midwood Investment & Development and Meltzer Associates LLC pushed forward with the sweeping transformation of the 260-car parking garage into 28 one- to three-bedroom apartments. Christian Zambrano of Sibertekture is listed as the architect and renderings show the exterior is receiving a top-to-bottom overhaul that will result in a red brick and metal facade with large windows.
The teaser site says the building will provide “contemporary style, unsurpassed convenience, lavish amenities and a Park Slope neighborhood you'll never grow tired of calling "home." The new renderings show elegant and subdued finishes, high ceilings, and a roof deck with splendid views of the Manhattan skyline. The crowning apartments will be two duplex units with private roof terraces. Common amenities will include a fitness center, yoga studio, shared roof deck, residential storage space, party room, and a dog spa.
Per our rental listings search the median price of a studio in Park slope is $2,200/month, one-bedrooms are $2,500 and two-bedrooms are $3,200.
