Summit is a recently-finished luxury rental tower in Midtown East with studio to two-bedroom layouts and an ultra-luxurious set of amenities to complement its supremely prime location near Grand Central Terminal. The 43-story tower is located at 222 East 44th Street between Second and Third avenues and holds 429 apartments. The building is close to world icons such as the Chrysler Building and the United Nations. The former parking garage site was redeveloped by BLDG Management which worked with Handel Architects for the building’s exterior.
Floorplans and listings show a range of layouts are available including studios with a separate living and dining alcove, spacious corner layouts with one or two bedrooms, and even grander units designed with foyers, master bedrooms with ensuite baths, and private outdoor terraces. Douglas Elliman handles leasing and listings are no fee. Currently there are eight no-fee listings showing studios priced from $4,245/month and one bedrooms from $6,275/month. One of the building's culminating showpiece apartments, #RESC, is also available for a pearl-clutching, almost Chrysler-touching $30,000/month.

The through-block site fronts both East 43rd and 44th Street between Second and Third Avenue and the glass tower’s pivoted design creates homes with expansive midtown skyline and East River views - and many units have direct views of the iconic Chrysler Building.

Apartment interiors have floor-to-ceiling windows, hardwood floors and custom closets. Italian cabinetry is in kitchens along with custom countertops, full height backsplashes and a suite of integrated Bosch appliances. Bathrooms offer a cloud-white Italian vanity, oversized medicine cabinets and floor-to-ceiling tiled walls. A washer/dryer is in each residence.
