The newly constructed 5-story rental building at 37 Montrose Avenue in Williamsburg is set to debut this month, according to the property's website. The building will offer 10 residences in one-, two- and three-bedroom layouts. Pricing has not been revealed but current one-bedroom rental listings on CityRealty are priced between $1,750/month (at 210 Montrose Avenue) and $4,500/month (at The Wave).
The building is on Montrose Ave between Lorimer Street and Union Avenue, less than one block away from Sternberg Park. Permits were filed in 2015 and list the property owner as Barry Himmel of Chaverim Realty Corporation and the applicant of record is Boaz Golani of Beam Group. The team says the boutique property has an "industrial warehouse vibe with high end finishes and original art throughout." Design direct and artwork is by Elise Black. Permits show there will be an elevator, on-site laundry and a roof deck.
