Nothing beats a NYC apartment with views of a park or body of water. Fortunately, Douglaston Development's new Williamsburg rental has both, plus glorious vistas of the Manhattan and Brooklyn skyline beyond. Named LEVEL, the sizeable 550-unit tower soars 40-stories above its East River waterfront locale and is the largest of a trio of towers called The Edge. Like its sister buildings, LEVEL is designed by Stephen B. Jacobs Group and sports a glassy façade and lines of balconies for residents to take in the resplendent scenery.

Leasing is in full force for the building's Andi Pepper-designed rentals, which come in studio to three-bedroom layouts. The rentals are no fee and currently have several special offers; up to 2 months of free rent on a 24-month lease, free car sharing exclusively for LEVEL residents and also, if you're planning to visit the onsite leasing office, the team will provide complementary ferry passes. Availabilities include studios from $2,318/month, one-bedrooms from $3,084/month, two-bedrooms from $4,418/month and three-bedrooms from $5,245/month. A select number of the remaining units have spacious private terraces. See the listings here.

Homes provide stainless steel appliances, glass cabinetry, smoked walnut flooring and floor-to-ceiling windows with custom solar shades. Amenities, both indoor and outdoor, are a main feature of the property and include the indoor-outdoor swimming pool on the 9th floor, a landscaped courtyard, a roof deck and barbecue grills. Other building features include a terrace lounge with a fireplace and an expansive club lounge with a demonstration kitchen.

“With every new project, our team goes above and beyond to build a community within our properties and offer future residents the best in apartment finishes and building amenities,” said Jeffrey Levine, Chairman of Douglaston Development. “This mentality has enabled us to transform the Williamsburg waterfront into the highly sought-after residential area it is today.”

With the L-train shutdown is no longer in Williamsburg’s forecast, residents at LEVEL never really had too much to worry about when it comes to transportation. There is a landing for the East River Ferry steps from the building’s doorstep and there are several Citi Bike docks in the surrounding area.
