Bruce Willis returns to Central Park West; John Leguizamo sells in the Village.

Bruce Willis is in the process of buying an apartment in the El Dorado at 300 Central Park West. The “A Good Day to Die Hard” star, who lived in the neighborhood back in his Demi days, is in contract to buy a three-bedroom co-op at the classic Upper West Side building for $8 million for himself, wife Emma Heming and their one-year-old daughter. The Emery Roth-designed Art Deco building offers a gym and a mini basketball court, in addition to standard full-service amenities (CurbedNY).

Nearby, hip-hop mogul Lyor Cohen recently checked out an apartment at the Majestic at 115 Central Park West, which is on the market for $15.95 million (NYPost).

John Edelman, CEO of mid-century furnishings mecca Design Within Reach, has listed his custom-designed Chelsea apartment on both the sales and rental market. The three-bedroom top-floor unit at 150 West 26th Street was listed in November at $5.5 million with a rental price of $25k/month. The 2,000-square-foot condo loft features built-in appliances–including a television and an espresso maker–chandeliers originally designed for the Metropolitan Opera and 3,000 square feet of outdoor space. Edelman’s impressive furniture collection is included in the rental as well (TRD).

Actor John Leguizamo is selling his East Village townhouse at 268 East 7th Street for $4 million. The four-story home–currently on the rental market as well–is situated among the downtown neighborhood’s eclectic community gardens, cafes and unique luxury condos like the Flowerbox building at 259 East 7th Street (CurbedNY).

The apartment’s new owner plans to use the the 4,584-square-foot apartment with Central Park views and multiple en-suite bathrooms as part of a global network of pied-a-terres. The sellers, hedge-funder and former Lehman man Arthur Estey and his wife Evelyne, a private school CFO, bought the apartment for $16.9 million–itself no small sum–in 2007 (TRD).

The last sponsor unit at 535 West End Avenue, a full-floor condo, is now on the market for $19.5 million (NYPost).
