Brooklyn Pride Day offers a full day of festivities on Saturday, June 14. A 5K run/walk kicks off the day at 10 a.m. in Prospect Park. It is sold out, but you can still show up to cheer on the runners.
A street festival starts at 11 a.m. along 5th Avenue between Union and 9th Streets. Entertainment begins at noon at the main stage on 5th Avenue at 9th Street, with a Family Fun Zone in front of the Old Stone House. The day culminates with the Twilight Parade at 7:30 p.m., traveling down 5th Avenue from Lincoln Place to 9th Street, with a reviewing stand at 3rd Street.

BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn 2025!

During its over 40-year run, BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn! has presented celebrated global music icons, legendary jazz artists, chart-topping indie bands, gravity-defying dance troupes, large-scale film projects and even a virtual reality performance, becoming one of the city's foremost cultural attractions and a beloved summer tradition. This year's event runs through August 16, celebrating talent from around the world and around the block.

For the first time, they’ll share the stage with The Red Ribbon Revue, a musical showcase of HIV-positive performers spanning generations, created by Sam Bolen and Brian Mummert.

Schomburg Centennial Festival

One hundred years after the New York Public Library opened the Division of Negro Literature, History and Prints as a special collection at the 135th Street Library, the Schomburg Center is one of the world's leading cultural institutions dedicated to the preservation and study of materials focused on the African Diaspora. The centennial celebration will feature readings, discussions, and workshops with guests including Roxane Gay, David Crownson, Vinson Cunningham, Glory Edim, Imani Perry, Ibi Zoboi, Kiese Laymon, and Chukwuebuka Ibeh.
Other events include an opening parade with Brooklyn United Marching Band, a cosplay showcase, a kids' clubhouse, and a Read and Refresh lounge. The day closes out with an old-school block party featuring DJ D-Nice, Slick Rick, and The Soapbox Presents: Stoop Sessions.

Uptown Arts Stroll
Ongoing until June 30 | West 125th to 220th Street
Presented by the Northern Manhattan Arts Alliance, the Uptown Arts Stroll is a month-long celebration offering a wide variety of arts and cultural events from West 125th Street to West 220th Street. This weekend's events include artists' studio visits, walking tours, live music, performances by General Mischief Dance Theatre at Riverside Theater on Saturday and Sunday, and the Public Theater's Mobile Unit performance of Much Ado About Nothing at J. Hood Park on Saturday.
Down to Earth Chelsea Farmers Market
Saturday, June 14 | West 23rd Street between Eighth and Ninth Avenues
Down to Earth Markets brings together two kinds of vendors: local farmers and area food and crafts makers using locally sourced ingredients. This Saturday's event runs from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on the north side of West 23rd Street off Ninth Avenue, and they present a "farmer-to-father" menu featuring local ingredients in honor of Father's Day on Sunday, June 15.
