Over the past seven days, 480 sales listings throughout core parts of New York City experienced price reductions. This includes a sophisticated apartment in The San Remo, a prestigious Central Park West cooperative that Demi Moore, Bruce Willis, Diane Keaton, Dustin Hoffman, and Mary Tyler Moore, to name but a few luminaries, have all called home. No celebrity connections were uncovered for this unit, but the iconic Emery Roth-designed building is an architectural star in its own right. Like all of the following listings, the figures reflect cumulative cuts as opposed to the most recent reductions.
As of August 26, 2020, 11,277 condos, co-ops, condops, and townhouses are listed for sale in Manhattan, Brooklyn, western Queens, and parts of the Bronx. Manhattan's median prices slipped to $2,184,758, or $1,716 per square foot for condos. Co-op medians also dipped to $891,321.

Meanwhile, rental availabilities checked in at 20,833 listings all over New York. Manhattan's median rents came to $2,412/month for studios, $3,052/month for one-beds, $3,678/month for two-beds, and $4,522/month for three-beds.
