Residents at luxury rental Instrata Brooklyn Heights will soon see some changes. The building at 75 Clinton Street, an outpost of the Instrata Lifestyle Residences, has started renovations to transform its cellar into an amenity club level that will include a new lounge, an expanded fitness center, and a children's playroom. The amenities come in addition to several that are currently offered in the building.
The new lounge will have hardwood floors, a large flatscreen TV, a bar area with stools, and several seating areas with tables, chairs and sofas. The expanded fitness center will have exposed ceiling vents and a faux bois rubber floor, and new equipment that includes treadmills, bicycles, free weights, and other workout equipment. The new child-friendly playroom will include fun, age-appropriate toys and games, a kid-size stage, and an activity area. Updated tenant storage areas and a new bike room are also in the works.
Like its four sister properties in NYC, Instrata Brooklyn Heights offers residents condominium finishes, and an overall resort-like living experience that includes exclusive resident events designed to inspire community engagement. The new amenities will join an already impressive array of services and perks. Atop the building stands a fully furnished rooftop deck that has views of New York Harbor and the Statue of Liberty. There is also hotel-style concierge, a 24-hour attended lobby, a laundry room, and a dry-cleaning service. Plus, residents can benefit from exclusive Instrata perks, such as access to both the Ritz-Carlton’s Executive Reservation Service program as well as exclusive ClubCorp privileges.
The 9-story building hosts 74 residences ranging from studios to three-bedroom units. Each features stainless steel appliances, custom stone countertops and cabinetry, in-unit washer/dryers, and spacious closets. CityRealty currently has listings for the property which include a 1-bedroom unit for $4,195/month, three 2-bedroom units starting from $6,500/month, and a 3-bedroom unit for $9,995/month.
Originally constructed in 1910, the building was converted in 2012 by Invesco Real Estate with Edgar Rawlings serving as the architect. Situated on the corner of Clinton and Montague Streets near the border of Brooklyn Heights and Downtown Brooklyn, it is in a lovely area with sidewalk landscaping, and the building is just steps from the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, and is one stop from Downtown Manhattan on the subway.
