New Yorkers earning between 80 and 120 percent of the area median income (or $42,000-$135,240/year) have until June 25, 2019 to apply for listings ranging from $1,168/month studios to $2,579/month two-bedrooms. Even with rent concessions in place, this is quite a deal compared to the market-rate prices, which start at $2,602/month for studios and $4,556/month for two-bedrooms. Lottery criteria via Housing Connect
All residents will enjoy distinctive interiors with hardwood floors, oversized windows, in-unit climate control, and in-unit washer/dryer. Kitchens have herringbone backsplashes, white cabinetry, hanging light fixtures, and a stainless steel appliance package including a dishwasher. Bathrooms feature soaking tubs, and tiled floors and walls. Pets are welcome.
Game room
Architecture firm Issac Stern's exterior design features a glass base for over 17,000 square feet of residential amenities spanning three floors. These include a fitness center with yoga area, game room with wet bar, lounge with seating and screening areas, library, co-working space, children's playroom, and pet spa. A landscaped courtyard connects the first-floor amenity spaces, and a rooftop terrace with stunning skyline views offers lounging areas, dining areas, grilling stations, and bocce ball court.
Developer Adam America filed permits in 2015 to construct the new residential building on a site that was most recently used for a single-story automotive center and highly attractive for its Brooklyn location: Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, Brooklyn Botanic Garden, local dining and nightlife favorites, and several transportation options can be found on surrounding blocks.
