Instrata Gramercy, a 33-story, 166-unit rental building at 290 Third Avenue between East 22nd and 23rd Streets, is one of Gramercy's tallest residential towers and one of its most dramatic transformations yet. The building got off to a modest start as a residence for hospital employees in 1992, and now, in the new millennium, Adellco redeveloped it into Instrata Gramercy, a modern luxury rental with a stylish roster of amenities.

The redesigned building quickly attracted interest, and the remaining apartments come with an offer of one-month free rent on a 13-month lease. One-bedrooms start at $4,665/month and two-bedrooms start at $7,250/month. All prices are net effective.

Spacious units feature high ceilings, track lighting, generous closet space, marble bathrooms, and in-unit washer/dryers. The sleek kitchens hold granite countertops and stainless steel Whirlpool appliances. Many units have private balconies or terraces.

Instrata Gramercy has a partnership with the Ritz-Carlton Hotel that grants residents special perks like express check-in/check-out and courtesy car service. The building itself hosts monthly gatherings such as cooking classes and cocktail parties to cultivate a sense of community among residents. Other amenities include a sky deck with stunning, 360-degree city views, 24-hour doorman, concierge service, and fitness center.
