When pet amenities began showing up in the United States in the early 2000s, they were fairly basic – think slop sinks, closet-sized grooming stations, etc. Now, with pet ownership steadily increasing and people spending more on their pets than ever before, residential real estate has caught on and added some luxury pet amenities to new developments – and not just in condos. And perhaps the best pet amenity to surface in the past few years is Throw Me a Bone (TMAB), the first all-inclusive, in-home pet care provider.

Created in 2008, the company has just a few locations under their belt, including Downtown Brooklyn's 33 Bond Street and Midtown West's amenity-packed 555Ten – both of which are rentals. Their third and largest on-site residential space, which is inside another rental, the Handel Architects-designed 525 West 52nd Street is great for pet owners looking for convenience.

The building's competitive amenity package is 35,000 square feet, spreading from the building's lobby to its rooftop terrace. For fitness and recreation, there is a fully-equipped gym with both indoor and outdoor yoga studios, a massage studio, and a sports lounge has a pair of golf simulators and custom pool tables. There is also a library stacked by Strand, a screening room, and of course, the pet care salon from Throw Me a Bone.
Inside, you'll find the 1,500-square-foot space devoted to Throw Me a Bone's services, which includes an on-site daycare facility for group play sessions, and a full grooming spa and veterinary clinic. The space is smartly-designed with paw-friendly and antibacterial floors, an air purification system and high ceilings. (See the list: Top 10 Buildings With The Best Pet Amenities)
The facility features a daycare facility for group play.
525 West 52nd offers a concierge not just for its residents but for its dogs as well – TMAB provides door-to-door dog walking, in-home puppy visits, cat sitting, overnight stays, and even dog training, such as basic obedience training, agility courses, and training boot camps. TMAB also provides a link and password to their "puppy-cam" which allows you worried pet parents to check on your pup any time of day. Service fees start at just $17 and there is no additional fee for residents to access the facility. There are even community events like photoshoots, "yappy" hours, and themed parties.
