Waterline Square, one of the Upper West Side's largest residential offerings in a decade, is in its home stretch of construction and is well into sales and leasing its more than 1,000 apartments in its trio of buildings designed by luminaries such as Richard Meier and Partners, Kohn Pedersen Fox, and Rafael Vinoly. According to reports, the project was the fastest-selling new development of 2017, and closings of its condos are expected to commence later this year. Earlier this fall, the equally luxurious rentals came online, allowing renters to enjoy the development's abundant amenities, high-end finishes, beautiful views, and a convenient location near Lincoln Center, Midtown and the Hudson River.
Prices start at $3,938/month for studios, $5,271/month for one-bedrooms, $8,167/month for two-bedrooms, $12,917/month for three-bedrooms, and $17,500/month for four-bedrooms. All prices are net effective with three months of free rent on a 12-month lease. CitiHabitats is steering marketing and leasing efforts and the rental office, overlooking Waterline Square Park, is open on the second floor of Two Waterline Square.

In addition to the separate buildings' private amenities, residents of the rental units have access to The Rockwell Group-designed Waterline Club, which features 100,000 square feet of amenities catering to seemingly every interest and hobby. These include New York’s only indoor tennis court in a residential building, a state-of-the-art fitness center, an indoor skate park, a music and recording studio, a 4,600-square-foot children’s playroom, and an indoor dog run and training studio, to name just a few.
The immediate vicinity is home to the city’s newest park in the form of the 2.6-acre Waterline Square Park, designed by Mathews Nielsen Landscape Architects and featuring tree-lined groves, walking paths, relaxation areas, and expansive water features. Culinary offerings will include Cipriani’s first-ever food hall, a 28,000-square-foot dining and shopping experience that will open in Two Waterline Square later this year. Across the park, James Beard Award-nominated chef and founder is opening an outpost of his West Village favorite Empellon in Three Waterline Square. The surrounding area is home to Lincoln Center, Columbus Circle, Central Park, and Riverside Park.
