Last year, The Crescendo kicked-off leasing, bringing an unprecedented collection of rental apartments to the South Bronx. Comprised of two six-story buildings at 25 Bruckner Boulevard, the 130-unit project is the largest market-rate development to open in Mott Haven in recent times. Inspired by the neighborhood's piano-manufacturing history, the Crescendo's color schemes, accents, and proportions recall the classical instrument.
Within the complex are studio to three-bedroom layouts with hardwood floors, casement-style windows, and Blomberg stainless steel appliances that include a dishwasher and a washer and dryer. Many apartments have mezzanine levels, while others have private terraces. Current pricing shows studios begin at $2,320/month, one-bedrooms from $2,472/month, two-bedrooms from $2,900/month, and three-bedrooms from $3,625/month.
Bells and whistles to be enjoyed by residents include an indoor heated pool, sauna, steam room, recreation room – will billiards, fireplace, kitchen, and bar – a quiet room on each floor, fitness center, yoga room, kids room, terrace and rooftop recreation areas featuring a barbecue grill and lounge area. There is also on-site parking for cars and bicycles.
