A new residential rental building is preparing to open at 607 West 161st Street in Washington Heights. Developed by Sutton Management, the building called the Hannah hosts 62 brand-new apartments across 10 floors. Designed by Jeffrey Cole Architects, the mid-rise features a grey brick façade with its upper stories clad in light-colored stucco. The building replaces a stately brick and stone church, and will provide 13 units of affordable housing via the city's 421a program.

Each home as A/C, washer/dryers, oak floors, and is finished with high quality materials and appliances. Kitchens have granite countertops, Whirlpool ovens, and microwaves. Baths include imported Italian porcelain tile and polished chrome fixtures.

Through this program, studios are starting for $868/month and two-bedrooms for $1,085/month. Potential residents can apply until August 15. For an additional fee, they will be granted access to the building’s amenities, including the fitness center and bike room.
