Ellipse is a 41 story, 376 unit rental tower completed in 2017 at 25 Park Lane South, on a Hudson River pier in Jersey City’s Newport complex. Developed by the Lefrak Organization and designed by Arquitectonica, with HLW as executive architect, the curved glass building follows an elliptical plan interrupted by deep inset balconies at its east and west ends. A lower amenities podium adjoins the tower, while a two story entrance faces 14th Street.
Residences range from studios through three bedroom apartments and larger penthouses. Apartments have floor-to-ceiling windows, central air conditioning, oak floors, quartz kitchen counters, stainless steel appliances, and in-unit washers and dryers. The waterfront orientation frames Hudson River and Manhattan skyline views, while curved window walls and terraces echo the shape of the façade. Penthouse 02 is the most expansive identified layout, with four bedrooms across 2,024 square feet and a wide curved inset terrace.
