A tasteful collection of Manhattan rentals have been reintroduced at The Chelsea, a centrally-located mid-rise at 160 West 24th Street in the heart of Manhattan and its namesake neighborhood. According to architecture critic Carter Horsley, the building was enlarged from seven stories and 90 units to 19 stories and 204 units in 1998. Greystar Real Estate Partners purchased the building in 2016 with plans to “reposition the asset through comprehensive community upgrades.” Now, the building's newest chapter has arrived, ushering in redone apartments, a complimentary personal assistant program, and a forthcoming amenity suite that is to include a health club with a Peloton spin studio.

The reimagined apartments offer spacious layouts, large windows, and are finished in a calming neutral palette. The kitchens are outfitted with Calcutta quartz countertops and premium appliances. Bathrooms have deep soaking tubs, chrome Brizo fixtures, a floating vanity with lighting, and custom cabinet storage. Select apartments have an in-unit washer/dryer.

To celebrate the relaunch, the leasing team is offering one-month free rent for incoming lease-signers. Net effective prices have studios starting at $3,447/month; one-bedrooms at $4,873/month; and two-bedrooms at $6,973/month.

Greystar is performing an overhaul of the building's amenities. Already finished is a 15th-floor landscaped terrace with outdoor kitchen, seating, and impressive views of the skyline and the Empire State Building. Also open is "The Study," a resident lounge with complimentary Wi-Fi, workstations, and a flat-screen television. Soon-to-come amenities include an upgraded lobby, private conference room, media room, event space, a state-of-the-art fitness center with Peloton bikes, a weights area, and yoga studio; and "The Foyer," an extended living room with an espresso bar and lounge area.

Besides a spacious laundry room and a pet spa, The Chelsea aims to make daily tasks a more seamless experience with a complimentary membership to Hello Alfred. The program offers access to weekly services that include apartment cleaning, dry-cleaning deliveries, grocery stock-up, and mail and package delivery. This is in addition to the building's full-service features that includes a doorman, concierge, and live-in superintendent.

The building is situated in the heart of Manhattan, easily accessible to both Midtown and downtown business districts. Across Seventh Avenue is a Whole Foods supermarket and the Italian food market Eataly is two avenues away. Near the building's doorstep is the 1 line, and one avenue over are the C, E, and F lines, making travel to all parts of the city a breeze. Lastly, the building is surrounded by popular Chelsea restaurants and nightlife options and is a short walk to the High Line, Madison Square Park, the Meatpacking District, and NoMad.
