By now, we know that NoMad is bursting with residential development and for one rental project, new renderings and a website indicate that it's one step closer to launch.
The new building at 145 Madison Avenue, called The Mason, rises to 21 floors and has 70 rentals. A new website shows-off a rendering of the expansive roof deck, and allows prospective renters to sign-up for early leasing info. While pricing has not been revealed, rentals in the nearby Murray Hill neighborhood currently have a median price of $3,795/month. This new building sits on Madison Avenue between East 31st Street and East 32nd Street and was developed by Kahen Properties. Its glass facade with solar louvers was revealed last fall, a design by Stephen B. Jacobs Group. Nearby rental buildings include a 2013-built, 35-story high-rise known as The Dylan where units are priced starting from $3,375/month; and also the 2009-built, 36-story rental called Madison Park Tower where units start at $3,200/month.

Additional renderings give us an idea of what to expect for residential units and also a look at some of the building's amenities. The homes will have floor-to-ceiling windows and five-inch wide dark oak hardwood floors. They come with heating and cooling units with programmable thermostats and individual room temperature control. Kitchens are equipped with stainless steel GE and Summit appliances, Quarts countertops, and all units have a a Bosh washer/dryer. Residents are treated to an enjoyable collection of amenities including a fitness center, stylish lobby, bike storage and outdoor patio. The building's expansive roof deck has comfortable lounge areas, plenty of seating and lovely city views.
