A newly opened rental building in Hoboken is currently offering renters one month of free rent. Called
The Vine, the 11-story building opened earlier this year and is located on the city's west side at 900 Monroe Street between 9th and 10th. It has 135 apartments in one, two, and three bedroom layouts, and a collection of sought-after amenities.
There are currently units available in all layouts. One-bedrooms start from $2,800/month (some also have dens), two-bedrooms from $3,810/month, and three-bedrooms from $4,500/month. These net-effective prices include one month of free rent on 13-month leases.
Apartments are sleek and modern with several sustainable features. They feature bamboo flooring, oversized and energy efficient windows, LED recessed lighting, and walk-in closets. Kitchens have Frigidaire and Bosch Energy Star stainless steel appliances, white cabinets, granite countertops, and modern fixtures. Bathrooms are large and lavish, featuring recycled porcelain tile, dark vanities, and plenty of storage.
The Vine's third floor is reserved for amenities, and includes a resident clubroom and fitness center. The building also has an outdoor pool with a deck, and a landscaped rooftop terrace. Other amenities include bike storage, automated on-site parking, and charging stations for electric cars.
Hoboken is a thriving area just across the Hudson River from Manhattan, and transportation within the metropolitan area is very convenient. The Vine even provides free shuttle service to PATH trains. The building is situated adjacent to the 9th Street Hudson-Bergen Light Rail Station, which connects the area to Jersey City and also to ferry terminals, providing another alternative for Manhattan commutes.
The Vine was developed by Intercontinental Real Estate Corporation and Bijou Properties, and was designed by Marchetto Stieve Higgins Architects. It was designed with a commitment to sustainability and environmental responsibility, and features a green roof and co-generation, and is also LEED certified. The residences are just one component of the mixed-use building, which also includes 13,500 square feet of street-level retail space, and the developers are also creating an adjacent 7,000 square-foot public park.
