Halo LIC, a rental building that opened in 2016 in one of the city's most rapidly transforming neighborhoods, Long Island City, has several apartments listed for rent with 1 month free. Apartment sizes range from studios to three-bedrooms, and some penthouse apartments are also available. Much of the building has already been leased, but one- to three-bedrooms are currently available. Current prices range from $2,650 up to $6,996 per month and come in a variety of sizes and layouts.

The 26-story building is located within the Hunter's Point Historic District and is only a few blocks from the subways at Court Square, which offer just a 10 minute commute to Midtown Manhattan. The building's design and interiors are from Durukan Design, which took inspiration from the neighborhood's industrial past.

Floor-to-ceiling windows provide living spaces with lots of light, and a neutral interior color palette allows residents to make the apartment uniquely their own. One of the top features are the private balconies on every unit, and the building's mid-rise setback provide 14th floor units with expansive terraces.

The interior design includes kitchens with reclaimed wood elements for a rustic feel, oversized stainless steel farm sinks, chrome retractable faucets, high-gloss cabinets, dishwashers, and suspended shelving for additional storage. Bathrooms have large medicine cabinets, free-standing sinks, and Grohe chrome fixtures, and units with a master suite and bathroom are available upon request. Townhouse door-knockers and custom lighting complete a comfortable yet unique living atmosphere.

The building has a 24-hour doorman leading to a welcoming lobby with a two-story fireplace and a package room. Other amenities include a roof deck, resident laundry rooms, a game room, on-site bike and car parking, a screening theater, and a pet spa. More amenities will be available soon with a state-of-the-art fitness center with locker rooms and a sauna, a library lounge, and second-floor courtyard. Halo LIC is located near the intersection of Jackson Avenue and Purves Street, and is on the same block as other new residential buildings including condominium buildings 44-27 Purves Street, The Vista, and Vere.
