Earlier this year, TF Cornerstone launched the new Hell’s Kitchen mixed-use rental development The Max at 606 West 57th Street, a ground-up project that rises between Eleventh and Twelfth Avenues with luxurious residences offering striking waterfront views. The glassy Arquitectonica-designed building will also soon stand adjacent to a 28,000-square-foot mural, in development by Karlssonwilker Inc. in conjunction with TFC. Promised to culminate in a vision of an evolving skyline within the historical landscape, the mural will accompany curated and public domain poetry, and is due for completion this fall.
With more than 1,028 residences, the building is one of the largest rental buildings in the city and has reached a noteworthy milestone; The Max is already 80% leased in just six months since its launch. Current listings on CityRealty show studios starting from $3,160/month, one-bedrooms starting from $3,887/month, two-bedrooms starting from $4,671/month and three-bedrooms starting from $8,126/month; see the listings here.

Inside, residences feature white oak floors, high ceilings, and floor-to-ceiling windows to welcome expansive views or invite privacy with solar shades. All homes are complete with in-unit washers and dryers, and select units offer home offices, large foyers, private terraces or balconies. Various kitchen layouts, ranging from open and gallery to walkthrough and island, offer Caesarstone quartz countertops, porcelain tile backsplashes and floors, and stainless steel appliances.
While not as remarkable in height as some of its neighboring skyscrapers, the main calling card for the 44-story building is a dedicated suite of amenities. Among them are TF Cornerstone’s signature co-working space “HomeWork,” as well as a gallery of communal and individual working areas dubbed “Social Stair”.

Further amenities include indoor and outdoor lounges with barbecue grills, a sundeck, a club room, pet grooming, a screening room, and a children’s playroom. The expansive fitness center presents a full-court basketball gymnasium, Peloton bikes with an on-demand class streaming subscription, a yoga and Barre studio, a cardio balcony, free weights and strength training, and a stretching room.

Aside from its residences, 606W57 is home to a 10,000-square-foot Pre-K, as well as 26,253 square feet of prime ground floor retail space. Situated on Manhattan’s emerging West Side, the building stands in proximity to Midtown rooftops, the Upper West Side’s cultural destinations and Central Park, and the scenic Hudson.
