A new residential development on the border of Greenpoint and Williamsburg is gearing up to launch. Permits for the project at 906 Lorimer Street were first filed back in 2013 and the final product is a five-story mixed-use property with five rental homes.
Commercial space occupies the first and second floors, there are two rental units each on the third and fourth floors, and the fifth floor is reserved a single residence. Leasing is handled by Native Real Estate and one-bedroom layouts are expected to be priced from $3,600/month. Move-ins should start around mid-November.

The units have private balconies, double exposure windows and in-unit laundry. Open concept kitchens feature custom cabinetry, stone countertops and stainless steel appliances including a dishwasher.
The building overlooks McCarren Park and is less than one block to the G train at Nassau Street. The site is also known as 66 Nassau Street and prior to this development, a three-story prewar building stood in its place. A walk down Bedford Avenue will bring you to Williamsburg where you can also catch the L train and New York Ferry. Other nearby residential developments include a condo project known as 868 Lorimer on the Park and a rental development at 848 Lorimer Street.
