The Colorado at 201 East 86th Street (alternatively 1527 Third Avenue) is now preparing to unveil its new amenity spaces. Built in 1987, the beige- and brown-brick tower stands 35 stories tall, a prominent height for its relatively low-rise intersection in Yorkville. The tower features 256 residences, a stainless steel entrance marquee, a two-story limestone base, and retail space at its ground level.
The Colorado’s new spaces will include a state-of-the-art fitness center, a children’s playroom, a guest suite, and a lounge, all of which promise to be both comfortable and useful. Service-wise, the building features an in-house valet, dry cleaning, and alteration services for the utmost convenience. A gorgeous furnished rooftop terrace sits above the tower as well with awesome views of the city. The Colorado is also known for prioritizing relationships within the community, offering residents special discounts and exclusivity to vendors like Alice’s Tea Cup, Yorkville Tennis Club, Prestige Home Décor, and American Liberty Ballet.
Residences at the Colorado range from studios to four-bedroom layouts. There are currently eight no fee apartments for rent: a studio starting from $3,225/month, two 1-bedroom units starting from $3,200/month, four 2-bedroom units starting from $5,275/month, and one 3-bedroom unit starting from $5,940/month. All are newly renovated, featuring expansive windows that maximize views of the city, and kitchens with gorgeous wood cabinetry and top-notch appliances.
