A model moves out, a Meier invests in Dad’s work and Derek Jeter seeks another jumbo bachelor pad.

Soon after selling his 5,000+ square foot penthouse at Trump World Tower, Derek Jeter was seen looking for another spacious spread. Recent possibilities included a $25,000-a-month, 4,000-square-foot rental duplex with 2,000 square feet of outdoor space at 129 West 20th Street in the Chelsea Quarter building (NYPost).

Ana Meier–daughter of architect Richard Meier–recently paid $6.5 million for the privilege of owning a part of one of her father’s creations. The furniture designer bought gallerist Barbara Gladstone’s 16th floor condo at the Meier-designed 165 Charles Street in the West Village; the unit is currently available to rent for $27,500 a month (NYPost).

Supermodel Kylie Bax is selling her TriBeCa triplex at 11 Vestry Street. The Aussie actress/cover girl’s lovingly remodeled three-bedroom, 3,100 square-foot duplex loft is actually two units that were combined; the apartment is currently listed for $3.1 million (CurbedNY).

Late diplomat Richard Holbrooke’s apartment in the Beresford at 211 Central Park West was recently sold by his wife, author and former ABC News correspondent Kati Marton. Marton, who was also, for a time, married to anchorman Peter Jennings, first listed the co-op for $14.7 million. The apartment finally changed hands at $11 million (NYO).

Big tickets

The penthouse at 730 Park Avenue was just quietly sold to hedge fund manager Daniel Benton for $39 million. The Upper East Side co-op is blessed with four bedrooms, a solarium, a greenhouse breakfast room with a glass ceiling and five terraces. Though the sale set a record for the building, it wasn’t a threat to the city’s co-op high-sale record that stands at $54 million for socialite Denise Rich’s former penthouse pad at 785 Fifth Avenue (CurbedNY).
