The Greenpoint rental building that has been in the works for a number of years - and topped out last year - is nearing the finish line. Located at 211 McGuiness Avenue in Brooklyn, the building's official website has launched and Citi Habitats will handle leasing for the studio to two-bedroom units, though pricing has not been revealed. With an exterior composed of material including brick, wood and glass, the new building rises to 8 floors and inside are a total of 197 apartments.
The property will be known as Otto and Curbed has reported a June 1st leasing launch with new residents able to move-in starting July 1st. Several new renderings have been released showing-off the building's collection of high-end amenities which includes a rooftop pool. The property was developed by Stellar Management and the exterior design is by Gene Kaufman Architects.

Retail space will occupy the base of the building and the residences are located above - twenty percent of which will be set aside for affordable housing. The new renderings detail the amenities shared by residents but apartment interiors have not yet been revealed - though they will offer floor-to-ceiling windows, contemporary kitchens with a dishwasher and in-unit laundry, according to the new website. The building’s roof deck will be outfitted with a pool, outdoor screening room, grills and plants. It has a full-time doorman and other amenities include a library, game room, gym and lounge.
