The Ardsley, 320 Central Park West

Co-op located in Upper West Side, between West 91st Street & West 92nd Street

Comment About the Building

Elegant, prewar Art Deco building. Emory Roth architect. Completed in 1931. Coop. Not a very communicative board. Don't keep clear meeting minutes. Still well-managed and not unreasonable. Huge and very nice staff. Not a pretentious building at all. Moderate to strict. Generally does not allow subletting except in extreme circumstances. Pets okay.

More Comments About the Building

"Building designed by Emory Roth. The apartments that face Central Park have amazing views. I did a deal here and the co-op was not easy. The board turned down one of my buyers, then gave the eventual purchaser a hard time with his renovation plans."
"Magnificent Art Deco bldg. 169 apts. reasonable board family oriented neighborhood many private schools , great restaurants and of course Central Park"
